There will be many there and easy to find - though I surely don't know abt the concept of managing them? - or what you mean by that?

What you should do is contact them when you are there - and speak with them first.

My wife arranged a tour that included boating out to an island and camping over night and food and provisions - I spoke with the guide and her husband before booking - they seemed competent and capable and said "safety first" and I was impressed with their experience and capabilities and all went smoothly. good luck and enjoy.

I think you are a little mixed up here. Koh Tao is on the same coast as Samui and Phangan, while Phuket, Krabi is on the other coast. You may be thinking of Phi Phi which is between Phuket and Krabi. Check out a map

As for which is better it's a matter of taste, I like the Phuket, Krabi and Phi Phi idea better.
